KNARS releases new single and video “She Twisted’

“This song is about women. What kind of women you wonder? Crazy women. Twisted women. Femme Fatales you might call them. We made a crazy video of such a twisted character, and even more twisted companions.”

When we at IndiePulse first hear the music of KNARS, at the time named Knarsetand, it was the release of their single and video for the track “Fuckup”, we aptly stated that they were “PUNK AS ALL FUCK!”, and to this day, we stand by that. This band has been through transformation, becoming bolder and more in tune with the minds of their fans, creating music that blazes trails in the brain, and the new song “She Twisted’ is more of the same glorious Punk inspired energy that made KNARS a band we admire.

Rave/breakpunk band KNARS is known for their in your face lyrics and raw breakbeats. In latest single ‘She Twisted’ – taken from their just released album ‘From the Madhouse’ – they combine the two in a strange disco 4×4 meets nasty drum’n’bass tune about psycho twisted Femme Fatales. Telling about how every woman can be stared and glanced at, but how nobody knows their inner demons and dark secrets.

The accompanying video includes Dutch underground television star Theo Wesselo and a beautiful lady torturing him.

KNARS has already been wrecking stages across The Netherlands for a year (Amsterdam Dance Event, MadNes and Grasnapolsky), along with successful tours in France and Hungary, receiving critical acclaim from national and international press. Comparisons are drawn with The Prodigy, Die Antwoord and Pendulum, yet we feel KNARS stand on their own, as ones to watch.

The project has been able to achieve this whilst remaining fully independent, without label, manager, publisher or subsidy.
