Indie-pranksters SeepeopleS announce Spring Tour
The indie-pranksters SeepeopleS have announced a short Spring Tour.
The band, known for its genre warping and socially conscious anthems, will be doing a quick east coast run and will be visiting some of their old haunts. The tour includes a show in their old hometown of Asheville, NC (APR. 23), a show in their new hometown of Portland, ME (April. 27), and support slots on June 1 with Start Making Sense in Boston, MA (Paradise Rock Club), where the band started in 2000, and June 29 in Washington, DC (The Hamilton).
Recently, the band’s video for the song “New American Dream” off the HATE EP (2017), which was animated by Pete List (Celebrity Death Match / MTV), was banned by Facebook and Instagram.

Both platforms have also disabled the band’s ad account, forcing the band to rely on organic promotions in promoting themselves. Currently, the band has also begun recording their 8th studio release with longtime SeepeopleS collaborator Will Holland (Pixies, Dead Can Dance).
The concept album is entitled Field Guide For Survival and is due for release in 2020, in time for the band’s 20th anniversary. Fans of the band can also expect the release of SeepeopleS: LIVE, a live album and the third release in the SeepeopleS : LOVE, HATE, LIVE series, this summer.
