IndiePulse Artist Spotlight: Neverlanded

Neverlanded, a three-piece alternative rock band from north London, England, formed initially as an online project in 2017.  This modern Euro-Rock Trio combines the talents of Pete Bloom on Guitar, Niki Jester on Bass, Guitars, and Jaca Freer on drums and all three share the microphone on Vocals. With music amply loaded with dark lyrics, heavy guitars, groove, headbanging, sweat and electricity, they are a force to be respected and admired.

Neverlanded has recently released their EP F.U.U (FluffyUnicornsUnited), and it is killer, neck deep in power chords, high energy and reminiscent of the Grunge Scene beginning that has influenced so many to seek their dreams and live the life fantastic, Neverlanded have made their first official a bar that would be the mark to meet.

So, on to the meat and taters, starting with what could be an anthem of sorts, Briansane sets the pace, fast and freakishly fun to listen to, it is hard to deny they have something to say, lyrically confident and … well just WOW! Followed by MesS.O.S, a track this could be .. could be … introspective, of just one accepting who they are and being OK with being different. 3rd track, This Friend Of Mine, the one that’s “So Insane”, well you know how a lot of us will say, hey, “This friend of mine has a problem…” or “Hey, just asking for a friend”.. well sometimes we are the only real Best Friend We have, so are we asking for that part of us too afraid to ask for help?  The last and most triumphant track, Scream4icecream is again WOW, so smooth and hypnotic, it reaps souls and bites deep.

This trio has something to share with the world, and they are also quite human, they are actively committed to human equality, they are tight with MermaidsUK, an organization for supporting children, young people, and their families to achieve a happier life in the face of great adversity. The band along with the org, campaign for the recognition of gender dysphoria in young people and improvements in professional services.

As a side note, actually, and all sides and in the middle top and bottom all around notice to all, If you’re interested in buying Neverlanded’s music, all you have to do is make a donation to Mermaids, and you’ll get their music for free, and if you buy it direct, you know you are supporting someone’s dream, somewhere here, there or around the world, and the life you save may save yours, so think about investing in the salvation of the human race. Sorry, not being preachy, just dig the band, their music and their desire to love life.
