The Hÿss release new song “Gold Tooth Ding”

Chicago’s The Hÿss have just released their new track “Gold Tooth Ding’ via their Bandcamp. The song is taken from their upcoming album Hound which can now be pre-ordered for only $1!

The band commented  “As recording Hound was the band’s first proper studio experience, we are stoked for the world to hear it. And although “Gold Tooth Ding” isn’t exactly representative of the record as a whole, we thought it would be cool to kick open the doors with Hound’s shortest and most straightforward punk rock track. There’s certainly more groove and dynamics in the other four songs, but there’s just something about the rough and tumble, bass-driven attack of GTD that makes it one of our favorites to play. It’s just fun as hell. And who can argue with the strange genius of these opening lines? A Puma tracksuit / And cowboy boots / Cobra Kai sensei, baby take take take / With a wink and a smirk and a greased handshake…”

Dave Fitzgerald – guitar
Pat Kennedy – guitar
Matt McDonald – vocals
Mike Scales – drums
Bill Sullivan – bass
