Formed in December of 2015, in Florence, Kentucky, Softspokencame together to embody a single idea – that people should take pride in who they are, and never be afraid to let their voice be heard. This message is reflected in their expansive and melodic post-hardcore sound.

Softspoken engages the listener with a finely honed array of influences from metal, punk and alternative. Striking a smart balance of instrumentally astute, melodically engaging and lyrically insightful, Softspoken offers a fine balance of heavy and melodic throughout their progressive debut EP.

The band, who explores deeper, introspective and reflective themes in their music, as well as the visual aspect of their art, were met with a positive response to their rookie release, with ‘Pathways’, garnering much fan favor.

Softspoken’s growing popularity has seen them embark on a number of successful tours already in 2019, including runs with Adventurer and Makari, as well as a set at Philadelphia’s annual Launch Music Conference.

The Florence natives spent much of the second half of 2018 working on new music at Glow in the Dark Studio in Atlanta, Georgia, with Matt Goldman (Underoath, As Cities Burn, The Chariot).

Bouyed by the success of “Paradox” and “Eclipse”, “Soundship”comes as the third single from this highly anticipated work; ‘Deaf Perception’ is set for release on June 28th, 2019 and available to pre-order HERE.
