New Straw Family Band Video – “Hot Sunny Day”
America’s Favorite Family of Music has released a new Video, “Hot Sunny Day” which comes to us just in time for the summer music season of fresh new releases sure to excite you on the hottest of days and coolest of nights.
In commentary from the band- “This song almost wrote itself on a beautiful summer day. We (Straw Family) were at our annual recurring holiday resort in Hungary where we are always inspired to write new songs, this time was no different. It´s about a hot sunny day, you would normally spent with your friends or family, but just this day you are quite alone and yearn for the one you love.“
Now, before you think this is a sad or tragic tale of being alone, the Straw Family’s talents to take a possibly sad story and make it a story of hope is strong in this video. personally, I enjoy their ability to make music in a way that everyone can love, understand and is family friendly, a song for anyone of any age.
The video, filmed in Black and White, emphasizes the lack of color in a lonely world, but the images of family and friends in the corresponding shots reaffirms that we are never truly alone when we have people in our lives that care for us.
