Across The Board Reaches Sonic Climax With “Wild Ones”

Across The Board is a band with a fondness for alternative rock melodies and earnest lyrics. What I really love about the sound of their music is how the group seamlessly set out to bridge the divide between different styles. From the 70s rock of Fleetwood Mac to the 90s melodies of alternative music and Brit-Pop, it’s all there!

Their most recent single, “Wild Ones” kicks in with a very energetic intro, aided by the massive wall of sounds of the electric guitars. The verses take a step back, allowing more room for the vocals to soar atop the mix. Things get lively again during the hooks of the song, as the band allows itself to reach its sonic climax, channeling their energy and vision. In addition to the infectious melodies and energetic performances, the song also features immediate lyrics, which are easy to relate to.

“Wild Ones” is also the title track of the band’s latest studio album, which features a collection of energetic, vibrant and edgy songs exploring the group’s wide creative range.
