The skatepunkers from Tigersharks release new single and video of “Born Lost”

Tigersharks returns to the scene with their new single and music video of “Born Lost” in all streaming platforms via Electric Funeral Records.

The Brazilian power trio plays a hardcore punk with hints of stoner and skate punk, and their music presents fast riffs in the best DIY style.

“Born Lost” is a simple and fast song, where hardcore minimalism adds to the message conveyed by the lyrics. The song talks about fears and insecurities of a young nihilist. One theme that the song addresses is the feeling of not belonging anywhere in this world, post-adolescent anguish and dissatisfaction with love life, work, family, friends and no specific reason to be here. In a world where everyone is (or appears to be) happy and healthy, real life is far less encouraging than Instagram.

The new single features a fast-paced instrumental, where the drums come with weight and the feel of a chest punch in each beat, creating a dynamic atmosphere with the sound of a scratchy guitar.

With a name based on a scene from the classic Spielberg movie “Shark”, we can say that skateboarding, art and hardcore punk along with hints of fun makes Tigersharks one of the best new bands to hang out.
