Hiraya set to release new single ‘One More’
Following their debut single ‘Hurricane‘, the British-Filipino duo are set to release their second single, “One More‘ on August 27th. Both singles will be part of their debut EP “Fallin’‘ which will be released at a later date.
‘One More‘ follows themes of love and relationships, in particular exploring the nerves and excitement felt when rekindling with an ex. The song is inspired by a poem written by Craig, one half of Hiraya, and was written within a matter of hours of inspiration. The duo describe their experience of producing ‘One More‘ as extremely satisfying as they were able to achieve a sound exactly as they had imagined. With Craig leading the vocals and Dabe Harmonising with the violin, ‘One More‘ presents itself as the perfect earnest love song.
Both members of Hiraya had grown up around music and developed a strong passion at a very young age. Originally from Newcastle, Craig decided to travel the world before residing in Manila, Philippines, where he met Dabe and the pair formed an alliance.
Although new to the scene, the duo have been exploring their sound together since 2015. With influences from and comparisons to the likes of; Of Mice and Men, Mumford and Sons, and The Lumineers, Hiraya could be described as having an indie-folk sound.
‘One More’ will be released August 27th on all major streaming platforms.
