Exclusive Interview with CLO

When did you know you would ultimately create a life in music?

As long as I can remember, music has always been my greatest passion. I feel like I’ve always known that music was my calling.

How do you balance the life of a musician with the normal day to day?

Being a musician is a whirlwind lifestyle, so finding day to day calmness is essential! I always find time to take care of myself.  Ultimately music is my life, I feel blessed to do what I love everyday.

Who have been your greatest musical heroes?

Wow, where to begin! My top musical heroes are Stevie Wonder, Amy Winehouse, and Rihanna. All these artists are such power house musicians and have always inspired my style and voice.

If you had to describe your new music in only 3 words what would they be?

Describing my music in three words… Hmm I would say electric, unique, and soulful. I am so proud of this project that Warren Huart and I poured our hearts into. So excited to share!

How do you feel about the current modern musical landscape?

I feel good about the current modern musical landscape… Styles are evolving, genres are being mixed and artists are becoming more fluid. I really dig that artists are feeling comfortable with pushing the boundaries, and I’m excited to be one of them!

If you could tour the world with one artist (living or non) who would it be and why?

If I could tour with any artist, past or present, it would be Whitney Houston. She is one of the most talented vocalists EVER, and a huge inspiration for me.

Please share with us one unique thing about you that most of your fans might not know.

Something unique that my listeners might not know about me is that I am a real foodie! Cooking has always been one of my favorite creative outlets outside of music. It is very calming, and a great way to be mindful
