Monks Road Social release collaborative new album ‘Out Of Bounds’

Musical collective Monks Road Social are set to release their brand new album ‘Out Of Bounds’ on the 27th of September 2019. This is their 2nd album of the year, following on from their last record ‘Down The Willows’, released in February.

Out of Bounds‘ has something for everyone, from soft and sublime to upbeat, Fresh and Funky, taking some cues from every form of music and every decade of genre style, this is a very sympathetically invigorating set of 24 tracks, and like every face that smiles in the warmth of a sunny day, it will warm your heart… this album is bold and boasts immense talent.

Out of Bounds‘ shares the same ethos as their last effort; to bring new, exciting talent to fruition. The project winds its way through a plethora of soulful pop, lofi, deep house and more, with each guest vocal performance as unique as the next, sitting atop the tight, smooth grooves of the Monks Road Social house band.

The record also bears some notable features, including Dick Taylor (The Pretty Things/Rolling Stones) performing on ‘Bird Calling’.

Masterminded by Dr Robert of The Blow Monkeys, Monks Road Social is an ever-evolving collaborative outfit. Taking on the role of producer/songwriter, he brings his fresh ideas to life with the help of his stellar house band, which includes: Mick Talbot, Crispin Taylor, Ernie McKone, Matt Deighton, Steve Sidelnyk and Ben Trigg. Citing inspirations such as Paul Weller, Marvin Gaye and Richard Ashcroft, Monks Road Social offer A unique and special blend of inspiration, friendship and craftsmanship.

‘Out Of Bounds’ will be available across all streaming platforms from 09/27/19
