Award winning Singer / Songwriter Matt Zaddy releases new Music

Matt Zaddy’s latest track “Busy” illustrates the idea ‘you can be right or you can be happy’.

With a sound that seamlessly blends folk-rock and modern soul, there’s something for every music fan to love about Toronto singer/songwriter Matt Zaddy.  As someone who has shared stages with a diverse array of artists including K’Naan, pop star Francesco Yates, CanRock legends Tom Cochrane and Jim Cuddy, and Australian alt-rockers Atlas Genius, Matt Zaddy’s intention is to connect with as many listeners as possible, regardless of any genre restrictions.

Matt’s new album Be, due out November 1st, certainly possesses everything to achieve that goal in a big way, and to place Matt Zaddy squarely in the conversation about Canada’s most promising singer/songwriters.

The track “Busy” is a high and upbeat song with a smooth melody, in a manner reminiscent of early Eagles with a bit of Christopher Cross, Matt Zaddy hits the top marks in music and creativity. Matt Zaddy’smusical legacy to date already commands the utmost reverence in the independent music scene,  in 2017  Matt is noted as Winner of Mississauga Music Awards for Best Acoustic Artist, and in 2016 he was Winner of Mosaic Music Festival Award for Excellence in Art. Matt Zaddy has the honor of Co-writing We are the North, Mississauga’s official song for the #Canada150 celebrations.
