“Say the Words”- new music by May Devun

May Devun’s soul-stirring voice holds listeners captive with an emotional dynamism publicly described as “sensual, intense, and potent” (Contact Music), and her distinctive songwriting traits fit it skintight. In summer of 2019, May Devun teamed up with producer and mixer Mark Needham (Imagine Dragons, The Killers, P!nk) and assistant mix and tracking engineer Tyler Spratt, to re-mix a previously acclaimed track, “We Walk Alone.” Proceeding with her new song, “Say the Words,” the team expanded to feature composer Patrick Warren (Adele, Lana Del Ray, Taylor Swift, Sara Bareilles) on strings, and Matt Chamberlain (Pearl Jam, Fiona Apple, Chris Cornell) on acoustic drums. “Say the Words” was released on November 8, 2019, and another new single is in progress to follow after the new year.
