Weekend Wonders: Computers Make The Drinks by Bankruptcy

Toronto’s Bankruptcy, featuring Thrush Hermit alumni Rob Benvie, as well as former members of The Dears and The Meligrove Band, have just released an incredible new album, ‘Computers Make The Drinks’, on British Columbia indie label Blew//Rose.

With a sound that pulls you out of your head, the music of Bankruptcy is a pile-driver, it is sumptuous and vibrant, voluptuous and far from pretty…

Computers Make The Drinks by Bankruptcy is adult music for mature thinking minds that want to have fun… and a few drinks to numb the pain of thinking… I love the track Lockheed Martin, it has a full raw soul and just begs you to turn it up loud.

The album is available on vinyl and digitally. The vinyl release date is November 7th, 2019. For streaming services it will hit Spotify, Apple Music, TIDAL, et al, on November 19th, 2019. The album is available on the label’s bandcamp.

Computers Make The Drinks by Bankruptcy will bridge the divide and will quite possibly be this years breakout hit, not that they’re trying, but they are succeeding.
