National-Recording Artist Meghan Cary Sets Sights On The PHL Live Center Stage Award and “People’s Choice”

The Billboard Critics Choice Folk Rocker Is A Finalist In the Folk Category and Front-Runner for “People’s Choice”; Winners Revealed December 3

Critically-acclaimed folk rocker Meghan Cary, who is a Billboard Critic’s Choice and recent Top 10-charting artist, has her eye on the prize. Two prizes that is. PHL Live has announced that Cary is one of five finalists in the prestigious PHL LIVE Center Stage contest in the Country/Folk category and a front-runner for the overall “People’s Choice” award.

PHL LIVE Center Stage is a music initiative highlighting Philly’s top musical talent across multiple genres. It’s structured across 10 different genre categories, bringing diverse musicians together. Providing emerging artists an opportunity to perform at popular local venues and win cash prizes, studio time and more, the initiative stems from Councilman At-Large David Oh, the Chairman of City Council’s Committee on Global Opportunities and Creative/Innovative Economy.
