Fred Hostetler, an artist that sees the path in clear view, has been releasing short segment videos of his song He’s Gone Rogue via his YouTube and social media to share his view of what is happening, with some humorous tong in cheek prose and very forthright honest observations, Fred says what we al think.
With spontaneous social commentary-Pt. 3. Our friend’s travails have ended with him ‘caught up in a spider web of troubles. Snippet 3 includes the last verse lyrics of the single ‘He’s Gone Rogue’. Acoustic guitar fingerpicking romps along over layered drums with pedal steel guitar providing the melodrama.
Hostetler was awarded 2019 Best Singer Songwriter by LA Music Critic. Artist’s comments: ‘He’s Gone Rogue’ The moment I heard this phrase while watching the national news I knew I had to write this song. The Ken Burns documentary on country music and Stephen Colbert’s Late Night monologues provided more fuel and impetus to give it a meaningful lyric and proper progressive country format to complete it.
