Richard Lynch Masters His Craft On “Think I’ll Carry It On”

Richard Lynch is no stranger to country music. It is not his first time around the block, and it is far from the last, with his latest project Think I’ll Carry It On being all the evidence needed to see why he has such longevity. A wide array of versatility is apparent from the get-go, with Lynch quickly jumping between sentimental ballads on a single like “Love Tattoo” before going into a slow-paced jam session on the very next track “Pray on the Radio.” With a fresh take on the genre, he can still channel old memories and the roots of country music on the aptly-titled “Back in 1953” as he sings his heart out over the sounds of his “old guitar.” Collaboration is also on the project, with a prominent and stunning record taking shape with Leona Williams entitled “Another Honky Tonk Song.” All in all, the project shows Lynch’s understanding of the country genre and the art that is required to perfect it, and it is abundantly clear he has mastered that craft in 2020!
