It charted on the AMA top 65 Chart, the FAR Chart top 10, and the Root 64 airplay chart top 20. Naked and Falling was ranked in the top 100 albums of 2017 by Alternate Root Magazine.
His upcoming album Afterglow is in the works and is planned for release on February 26th, 2020 with global release through the major streaming platforms and on CD. White Owl Red / Josef McManus is keeping much of it under wraps, known for his attention to detail and meticulous composition style, it is with some excitement that he is releasing a single to the world so far in advance of the new album’s launch.
In his enigmatic and homespun folk / western fusion, the stunning track “I Walk The Line For You“ is a song of quiet desperation, blood, sweat and tears, one that struggles with the inner demons and the turmoil of life. The narration of a man that finds his heave on earth, and swears to be loyal to love until the end, it rings of the glory days and the romance of the western hero.
This song could be heard in the smokey Honky Tonks or the Blues Rooms and find a home in either without reservation, and if this is a sampling tease of what will be on the album Afterglow coming out this February, I’m all in.
