Interview: Sean the Star Emperor

Hello Sean! Let’s jump right in – you have teased new music is coming. Can you talk about the story behind your next single?

The next Single is called “Pre – Nup, “ it features Raptress Kate Rose. It is about making sure that someone is truly dedicated to you, before you give him or her the full goodies…

What do you think it is about the song that fans will connect to?

Fans will connect to the message of having given your everything to a partner, building that individual up and then he or she turns around and leaves.  We’ve been there or know someone who has been there. The song is saying “not this time!!”

How would you describe your songwriting process? Do you need music before you write the lyric?

Sometimes the music comes first, sometimes it is the theme, either way I feel there is a higher power that strikes the chord of inspiration within me so that I can deliver.

Do you plan to release an EP or a full album in the near future?

Not really, I love putting out singles, it keeps me from having to stick to a common note, I can sing and do disco or hip hop or new wave. I do not need a commonality other than my Star Emperor Magic.  But if a label came along and gave me the right support then of course some sort of extended play.

When fans come out to see a live show – what can they expect?

Glitz, Glam, a booty poppin show.  A magical experience!
