Artist Spotlight: Bern LeBullet New Music and Video Kon’nichi wa Baby!
Beginning his career as an open mic musician, Bern LeBullet has released his debut single, ‘Kon’nichi-wa Baby!, a fun Brit-pop track that is influenced by Japanese pop culture.
Working with Andy Barrett and Lucy Liu, ‘Kon-nichi-wa Baby!‘ sees Bern LeBullet channel his inner Paul Weller.
Using open mic to build his confidence over the years, Bern LeBullet spent the early part of his career covering other people’s songs. Based in the UK, Bern LeBullet draws from the English rock and roll legacy as inspiration for his music, having learned from the greats like The Rolling Stones, U2 and David Bowie.
A Japanese theme.. starting with taiko drumming merging into a more conventional rock format. Kon’nichi-wa of course means “Hello!”, and remember, as the song goes, “London’s a blast but….Tokyo’s craaaazy!” – Hot Pop with an Asian Flavor, truly an International Delight!
‘Kon’nichi-wa Baby!’ is now available on all major streaming platforms.
