Microcosms Release Tightrope
Tightrope, the raucous new single from Chicago rock trio Microcosms has ben released today and is amazing, a song about being torn, walking the fine line we all do, when n friendship o ore, when the focus of your attention seems to seek your demise. The band has just one question – “Have you ever been gas lit?”
Tightrope by Microcosms has a post punk rock feel, with blood pumping energy and intrinsic passion, they make music to get you fired up.
Microcosms makes music to question your beliefs to. The Chicago-based alternative rock band began as the brainbaby of Andrew Tschiltsch (guitar/vocals), who spent a few years recording solo demos and experimenting with his sound before recruiting Bryan Emer (bass) and Jered Pipenbrink (drums) to fill out the band. The band blends introspective lyrics with crunchy guitar riffs and pulsating rhythms. Microcosms is most influenced by modern rock artists like Arctic Monkeys, Bully, Cage the Elephant, Courtney Barnett, Portugal. the Man, and Wolf Alice.
