New Video by Brad Heller for Eternal Season

“Eternal Season” is the lead track off “The Sentence” by Brad Heller, who has established himself as a credible force among current songwriters.  Honing his craft for over a decade and a half the Wilmington, North Carolina, transplant has built a reputation as a thoughtful songsmith who tackles a wide range of personal and social issues.  Bouncing between a myriad of genres, Heller finds creative drive in honoring musical influences that inspired him, while never abandoning his own unique sound.

With the 2019 release of his new album, The Sentence, Heller continues to build his audience with constant touring and spirited live shows.  Heller’s latest effort centers on middle-class characters while exploring themes of loss, self-imposed alienation, abandonment of faith, addiction, and immigration. Voted Wilmington’s “Best Original Rock Band,” Brad Heller and the Fustics will be hitting the road in full force in the new year and beyond.

in the video, Brad sems to follow the mantra of John Fogerty, Niel Young, Bruce Springsteen and John Cougar Mellencamp, showing us the heartland, the world of the working man. This sets the scene and the emotion that any and everyone can connect to, the good life, the modest life and the company of good friends. This could also be a very poignant video , living through it, dealing with the troubles and looking towards the good life, an with the COVID 19 issues right now, this is a song worth knowing and loving.

When discussing the new video, Brad says “We tried to make a video that continuously moved and didn’t languish in any part of the song.  It is a track that has many social overtones.  We filmed exterior shots that hinted at the current social climate without being over-the-top.  We recorded the band footage following a raucous NYE show the night before.  We didn’t want to look exhausted so we drank beer, and had a blast.”
