Review: Rocky Kramer “Alcohol” By Meredith Grant

“Alcohol” for many the drug of choice. For up and coming superstar recording artist Rocky Kramer it serves as a symbol for the adrenaline every Rockstar has while performing in front of a live audience. It can be interpreted as a love song, a frenzied high, a life-long habit, or a way of life, but Kramer it’s autobiographical in a loose sense.

“Alcohol” is the third song on Kramer’s concept and debut album, “Firestorm.” The album is explosive and energetic with some of the best guitar riffs known to man. It tells the story of a Rockstar (also one of the songs on the album), rising to fame. In real time Rocky Kramer discovered his multi-instrument for talent when his dad was teaching his older brother the violin. Trained classically, Kramer soon discovered his passion for rock music and learned other instruments including the guitar. When high school approached Young Rocky had formed a band that became locally legendary. Inspired by his love for music and motivated by his desire to perform Kramer created “Firestorm.” Signed to Allied Artist Music Group, endorsed by Fender guitar and based in LA, Rocky is ready to take on the music industry.

Kramer although born in the 90’s is a child of the 80’s inspirationally. Much of his songs are motivated by music stemming from 80’s metal. Rocky began touring and headlining festivals and making his presence in the US known. He’s got the look, the magic, the spirit, and the talent to succeed. “Alcohol” is a remarkable example of such talent. Behind him is producer Kim Richards who produced “The Wall” by Pink Floyd, which was the third highest grossing album of all time.
“Alcohol” is a fun song and very relevant for the times we currently live in. It’s full of rock n’ roll, and a lot of great guitar playing. “Firestorm” is filled with similar fun and riotous antics, but also great music and passionate messages…..
