Enigmatic New Music from David Pride

Nostalgiaisfun is a project started by Philadelphia native David Pride at the end of 2017. By late 2018 he started production for his self-titled compilation album “Nostalgiaisfun” which was released in the August of 2019.

Ever since then He’s released many diverse singles and EP’s. He describes his sound as “a blend of dream pop, vaporwave, lo-fi, alternative rock ,and indie pop/rock.” He takes inspirations from bands like the Smashing Pumpkins, Sonic Youth, Nirvana, The Cure and so many more bands from the past and present.

Now David Pride is laying out his soul in a new album forthcoming titled Nostalgiaisfun2, and has released to Soundcloud a track titled “Bad Girl”

David Pride has a lot of diverse music coming out in the next year with shoegaze and even more alternative rock influence with distortion driven guitars. He describes “hanging out in the woods,taking in nature and pure nostalgia” as the main influence in his music.

To say his music is “reminiscent” would say it is was just a shadow of what it is, with its clean, crisp guitar work, lyrics that draw from youthful angst to a sort of desperation to find truth in living, this first track “Bad Girl” is an amazing intro to the best that’s yet to come to the indie airwaves.
