Australian native and blues/rock guitarist Hamish Anderson has released limited edition colored vinyl of 2019s acclaimed sophomore album Out of My Head that “recalls Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers at their most defiant and boasts some lightning-strike guitar work from Anderson.” (-Relix) Hamish recently spoke about the album in the latest issue of Guitar Player Magazine.

Since wrapping his Australian tour with Gary Clark Jr earlier this year, Hamish has released three videos from Out of My Head. Most recently, an intimate, solo acoustic rendition of his radio single “The Fall” that is currently charting at AAA and Americana Radio in the states.

“One of things that you’ll notice about hearing ‘The Fall’ that’s emblematic of Anderson’s music is how he chooses restraint and subtlety over grand musical gestures, something that isn’t always the case in the blues-rock genre… Of course, Anderson could never have expected opening line of “The Fall” (“Drifting aimlessly from day to day”) to be so unintentionally relevant in these formless days.” – American Songwriter
