Allman Goldflies Band Release New Single and Companion Video – “Will You Still Be Mine”
The Allman Goldflies Band (AGB) latest release, Will You Still Be Mine, brings the group full circle back to its roots. Pure southern rock music updated to fit the present world has always been the mainstay of the AGB. Will You Still Be Mine was born of the experience by one of the group’s founders, Gary Allman’s journey through the United States prison system.

The song depicts a time where all life had to offer was hope. Upon a chance meeting of a female inmate, Allman formed a bond with her that helped sustain him through the darkest periods of incarceration. Along with Will You Still Be Mine, Gary’s deeply felt emotions lead to a series of songs that speak to the human spirit’s strength in the face of adversity. His story of renewal and redemption led the co-founder of the AGB, David “Rook” Goldflies, to partner with Allman and created a group that did the message contained in these songs justice.
In addition to this inspirational single release, the band has launched a video via YouTube. The video, although a pictorial montage, is like the song a retrospective of Gary Allman’s story and is very fitting to the music and the meaning of the song.
Will You Still Be Mine features the original members of the Allman Goldflies Band; Joe Weiss and Matt Siegel on guitars with a tad of Stratocastor ad-libs thrown in by Goldflies. A new arrival sitting in with the band is keyboardist Brother Mike Kach, a touring member of the Dickey Betts Band and A Brothers Revival, an Allman Brothers Band legacy group headed up by former Allman Brothers Bassist David “Rook” Goldflies. Of course, the entire track is topped off with Gary Allman’s authentic blues vocal performance that makes this one of the funkiest and most heartfelt tracks to date by the band.
The Allman Goldflies Band’s first release, Second Chance, is available on most popular music download and streaming sites. Visit the band on Facebook and like or follow the Allman Goldflies Band page to keep up with the best in current southern music for today’s world.
