Nic Norton and Alice Morell releases latest album ‘Smoke and Mirrors’
British folk band Nic Norton and Alice Morell have teamed up once again with the County Band for their latest album ‘Smoke and Mirrors’.
A collection of eclectic songs that explore all things folksy and rootsy, ‘Smoke and Mirrors’ is a heady mix of Americana, English folk rock, indie pop and music hall. Guided through the adventure by Alice’s pure vocals, the album veers from tales of bogus mediums, battling magicians, unusual music hall artists and encounters with Hell’s Angels.

Nic Norton and Alice Morell have also created a spectacular video for the song ‘Johnny and the Dead’, a part animated video that tells the story of a bogus medium and his girlfriend who sees through him.
Nic Norton and Alice Morell were formed in Norwich by Nic in 2018. Along with the County Band, they have already released an album called ‘Last Orders’ which received critical acclaim from music journalists and publications.
