Fred’s Blue Chair Blues, the recent release by Fred Hostetler has been gaining much notice by the discerning music fan that desires music of substance, music that truly speaks to them, music that puts the issues of the world into focus. if you are such a fan, then Fred Hostetler is an artist that will give you everything you desire.

Fred said in commentary “Things are difficult. It seems like every one
except the very wealthy are being squeezed. Then Covid hit and put us behind the 8 ball. Drug companies and Oxycontin wreaked havoc on the rust belt and beyond. This song was penned bearing all these things in mind and it is why the video is close captioned. Artists are performing in their kitchen, barn, patio, bedroom, wherever they can. It inspired me to video an hour show for the Facebook page/group Can’t Stop the Blues.”

Fred Said “It is a non profit platform supporting blues music and artists. I was able to make a little money and donate half of it back to organizations supporting unemployed blues musicians. After that I did a playlist aptly titled Can’t Stop the Blues on Spotify for artists who have appeared on their live shows. I never thought much more about it until one September night when a voice woke me up with the words “release your living room recordings as an album.”

Fred Hostetler has an Old-Fashioned Blues sound, as it was originally created, a natural and organic sound, with a wholesome feel, natural textures and melodies that inspire images of a simpler life, good times and warm summer evenings.
