Multi-Instrumentalist James Jones releases debut album
'Grit, Gravel & Gold', the debut album is expected to be an International hit.
Merging classical and flamenco guitar styles with pop melodies, ‘Grit, Gravel and Gold’ is the brand new debut album to come from Welsh fiddle player James Jones.
Pushed into making different music in the pandemic, the album, all recorded remotely, features singers from all over the world such as Nigerian singer and winner of Project Fame West Africa, Olawale who features on several songs including Never Forget, Christmas Passed, Superstar and Fly High.
New and upcoming vocalist from Czech Republic, Koralina also features on the album singing Gypsy Boy, a song which tells the story of two star-crossed lovers.
‘Grit, Gravel and Gold’ sees James Jones push himself like never before, and we can’t wait to see where this new adventure takes him!
James Jones is the 21 year old violinist and multi-instrumentalist who has won fans through his complex and interesting compositions. James supported folk icon Dave Swarbrick, opening the show for the legendary fiddler when he was just 15. Since then, James has performed as a soloist on the BBC Proms In The Park series and has made various TV appearances including on MTV.
