The Quantum Queefs releases debut single ‘Maserati’
With their tongue in cheek lyrics, The Quantum Queefs are bringing back the true spirit of DIY punk with their debut single ‘Maserati’.
Recording everything in-house with mastering done at Soundmine Recording Studio in PA. ‘Maserati’ pokes fun at the current ‘punk’ scene which they feel has been lacking in recent years. Tired of the watered down punk music that is championed by the major labels, The Quantum Queefs convey a multitude of ideas in a manic structure, incredibly reflective of the age of information we are living in now.
“It would be nice to bring a legitimacy back to the scene, and we really hope to see more ‘out there’ brands making solid effort to compete with the quality of artists releasing with major labels or representation.” explain The Quantum Queefs, a punk duo who started making music together in mid 2020.
Formed by Fish Fillet and Baby Hands, The Quantum Queefs was started as an attempt to release quality off brand tunes with an emphasis on intensity, humor, and variety.
Channelling the current age of information, or misinformation, The Quantum Queefs are using their music as a source of light and positivity for anyone who wants to listen.
“In a world of endless possibilities all existing on a quantum scale, perhaps with hard work, humor, and awareness we can start to bridge the mental gap between a better baseline reality and us.”
