Dave Sheriff releases latest single ‘We’re Off On A Holiday’

A bright and upbeat easy listening track, ‘We’re Off On A Holiday’ is the latest single to come from Telford’s finest Country artist Dave Sheriff. A rewrite of a 2018 single, ‘We’re Off On A Holiday’ celebrates the lifting of lockdown, with it’s uplifting mood mirroring that of the rest of the country. 

Dave Sheriff is a singer songwriter based at Telford England with an impressive catalogue in excess of 600 songs mainly in the Country and Irish genre. His 1997 single ‘Red Hot Salsa’ became a dancefloor hit and landed a placement in Danny Boyle’s ‘Trainspotting 2’.

His single ‘Waltz of a Lifetime’ was recently used in ‘The Comeback Trail’ starring Robert De Niro, Tommy Lee Jones, Morgan Freeman, Zach Braff and Emile Hirsch. An avid performer in non-Covid times, Dave Sheriff has performed at live shows throughout the UK and Europe as well as special events organized in the USA, Australia, New Zealand and Singapore. 

Dave Sheriff has also recorded four of his albums in Nashville which include a session with the legendary Jordanaires and a duet with Porter Wagoner which led to a memorable live appearance at Grand Ole Opry.
