Palocafe releases debut single ‘La Resaca’
Written at sunrise in Barcelona, 'La Resaca' is the impressive debut from Spain based band Palocafe.
Driven by its rhythm and rocky vocals, ‘La Resaca’, meaning the hangover, captures the juxtaposition of sadness and happiness in romance.
With vocals that heave with emotion, the instrumentation oozes sultriness that has us hooked! Recorded in Koriland Studios with engineer Raúl Cuevas and mastered in Metropolis Studios by Stuart Hawkes, ‘La Resaca’ is a highly polished debut from the band.

Formed by Javy Oso, originally from Colombia, and Riky, Palocafe is a six piece band currently based in Spain. Founding member Javy Oso came to Europe as a scholarship student, and fell in love with the musical soundscape of Barcelona, spending ten years playing in different bands and orchestras.
Javy met percussionist Riky in one of these ensembles and the two musicians went on to form Palocafe whose debut single ‘La Resaca’ is due for release later this month.
