Concrete Colossus releases latest album ‘Dead Man’s Hand’
A purely adrenaline fueled record, ‘Dead Man’s Hand’ is the brand new EP from Alternative Metal band Concrete Colossus.
A collection of five songs from a five piece band, each song was written with classic metal influences mixed with a modern punch of groove and aggression, making this EP dynamic and electric. Cutting this project from 9 songs down to 5, the band say “Doomswitch really was the song that started to define us.” Once they had found the sound they wanted for this EP, the story started to take shape, with ‘Berserker’ being the epitome of their adrenaline fuelled sound.
Dallas, Texas based band Concrete Colossus was formed out of the love of jamming. The five band members had previously been in different bands, developing their skills and honing their individual sounds.
When frontman Brandon returned from the military wanting to get back into music he slowly gathered the collective that would come to be Concrete Colossus around him. Initially a jamming project, they quickly realised they were onto something. Making music that you have to jump around to, Concrete Colossus are writers of heavy hits that are sure to leave you wanting more.
