Influenced by bands such as Tachyon Groove and Green Day, The Protected like to create rock anthems about life’s struggles and make the songs relatable for anyone listening. It has been described as a reflective album about life’s journey.

The album was recorded in the fall of 2021 and winter of 2022. All of the band’s work from 2019 has been a story of the struggles and setbacks life can throw at you, and this album does not disappoint in any means!
