Revived Romeo and singer/songwriter Nate DiRuzza writes his heart out in his new single “I and You”. Easy to listen to and hard to get out of your head, this soft-rock/country crossover is DiRuzzo’s plea for love. The cleverly penned hook, “Won’t you put your love between I and you” boasts lyrical honesty paired with an undeniably feel-good groove.
“I and You is a very important song to me. It’s fun and uplifting, and I feel like the whole world can relate to it,” DiRuzzo shares. “I know I’ll relate to it over and over again in my life. Every one eventually wants to put the love between I and you with someone.”
DiRuzzo combines nostalgic elements of a vintage tube amp, soft lyrics and overall stripped production to create this inviting track, heavily inspired by classic sounds of the 1970’s. At it’s core, “I and You” is a deeply relatable track that stretches beyond just the hopeless romantics because everyone’s most basic desire is to hear someone special put the “love” between “I and You”.
Nate DiRuzza will be releasing a new single, titled “Madness” on June 9th. While anticipating its release, you can listen to “I and You” and follow him on social media.
