Travis Bowers releases latest single ‘Fishin’ in the Dark’
Showcasing his favorite style of Piano playing, Travis Bowers is back with his new single, a unique arrangement of the song ‘Fishin in the Dark’. Playing in a Slip Note style, Bowers purposely plays accidental notes, quickly correctly and resolving the melody. This compositional style is aided by the intense drum fills that pepper the arrangement.
Travis Bowers, also known as the Rain Man of Piano, has been playing Piano since the age of 7. His unique arrangements of well known songs have earned him fans around the world, ranking Number 1 in the Boomplay charts 5 separate times.
His original works include ‘The Tennessee Rattlesnake Boogie’, ‘The Last Storm’, ‘Blue Dreams’ , ‘The Muddy Water Express’. The story of the Rain Man stage name comes from Bowers’ ability to take a glimpse at a piece of music and instantly transform the works into a complex playing style called Slip Note. Bowers has the impressive ability to play as high as 20 notes in his right hand manipulating the accidental notes into the correct notes.
