Mike Frank: A Trailblazer in His Own Right

The music industry has never been in a better position than it is right now thanks to the arrival of the digital era. This is due to the fact that many artists are now able to use music as a platform to convey their abilities to the world and, more importantly, to provide for themselves and their families. Because there are so many artists producing music, there is a lot of competition in the industry. There is a possibility that it will be challenging to build an audience or a following of fans. Mike Frank is one example of an artist who has reached this level of success.

Mike Frank is short for Michael Lamar Franklin, his official government name. He was born and raised in Killeen, Texas, along with his two brothers. Because of his deep appreciation for music from a young age, he began recording when he was only 14 years old. At the age of 17, he already had a tremendous following. He had already been featured on the radio and had given showcase performances. Upon graduating from high school, he took some time off to further his studies at Texas Southern University. His main love has always been music, but he is still quite interested in his business marketing degree. After finishing university, he returned to his music full-time. There were several bumps on the road on the way back to the music industry. It’s safe to say that his journey has been long and difficult, along with jail time, trips, and even baby showers. But now that he has decided to devote his life to music, only success is ahead.

“Cookies N Tatertots,” Mike Frank’s project that was released in 2017, was hosted by Screwed Up Clicks’ very own OG Ron C. In addition, he has performed together with Chamillionaire, and his catalogue includes more than 350 tracks (released & unreleased). At the moment, he is enrolled in the renowned Clive Davis NYU: Yellowbrick course for music business. In addition to that, he runs his own studio.
