This up-and-coming artist begins a new era with the release of his three-track EP titled “33,” which showcases his development and evolution across a wide range of musical styles and various sounds. The tracks are “Do Ya”, “Blast Off”, and “Notice Me”.

Do Ya

The extended dance mix has some eerie undertones and a dash of the 1980s. How the vocals are performed makes all of the difference for this song; an ambience of haunting awareness dominates everything else, making for a perplexing but distinctive beginning to the album. The song suddenly breaks apart like a knife cutting through a piece of cake, transitioning into a house-like atmosphere with a soulful vocal twist. It brings to mind the soulful electronic music that was popular in the 1980s. Additionally, Dorian has included a capella version in this project, due to which audiences can focus on the voice and pay close attention to the lyrical substance, enabling them to appreciate his talents as a storyteller.

Blast Off

R&Drill, included on the Blast Off the track, is an intriguing song since it doesn’t take a gloomy line of words or speak about the streets but tackles a deep and inspiring message and is full of soulful voices. The feel of the work is that of a soulful boyband. Once again, the Acappella version of Blast Off is provided for our listening pleasure. There is no departure from his structure or singing in any way. Yet there is a purpose to this rendition, and there is a great deal to learn from it.

Notice Me

Notice Me, an R&B/pop single, has been certified by TJPL NEWS as ready for radio play. The mellow guitar hints at dreamy pop potential, the afrobeat percussion takes it to another level, and the swaying background vocals, the lead vocal, and the trap soul samples make it even more impressive for the listeners. The hook functions as a chant because, despite its seeming lack of complexity, it strikes out as something remarkable for the opposite reason. Listeners can better understand Dorian, the artist, and Dorian, the writer, because of the album’s more stripped-back sound.
