Strays, album by Margo Price. Haunting, addictive, inspiring, Price’s latest album blends sophisticated songwriting, pop, psychedelic rock and country in 10 songs that bring her inner feelings to the fore.  This is a classic, it will be hard for you to put it down, and hard for her to top it’s so good. Available on Spotify and Bandcamp.

Juice, single by Maggie Szabo.  Celebrating her second Billboard #1 song for‘Impurities’ by KPOP girl group Le Sserafim, the Canadian pop sensation released her own new song Juice, with her trademark intensity, clever writing, and hooks that hold you. Available on YouTube and all major platforms

Me Vale, single by Chiquis. Chiquis does ranchera, banda and cumbia, and this song is a blended potpourri of fun. Get up and dance, hum, whistle – you can’t not move to this high energy party song.  You can tell why she was the first Mexican woman to top the charts since her late mother, Jenni Rivera, opened at No. in 2014. Video on YouTube, music on all major platforms.

Travesuras, single/video by Janeth Valenzuela. Valenzuela is a 25-year-old originally from Chihuahua Mexico, with a slew of viral videos covering norteño hits with her accordion.  Travesuras has energy, emotion, and of course her rockin’ accordion. Stream on Spotify and all major platforms.

Bight, single by Binx. The pop princess from LA/South Africa brings us a song that lives up to its title and then some. With poppy details (and a siren – listen really close), the song moves you along at a brisk, but enjoyable pace as she slips in and out of rap lyrics, this will go on top of the replay list.  On Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon and YouTube Music.

Ace:  50th-anniversary deluxe edition by Bob Weir. A huge wrapped up gift to Dead fans.   Ace was ostensibly Weir’s solo album but the rest of the group kept dropping by the studio and playing licks with him. If you ae a Dead fan – and especially if you are Bob Weir fan, this album is a must for your collection. Available online at the bob Weir store, the Grateful Dead online store, ebay, amazon ad other sites.
