Exclusive Interview With Ryan Batiste aka Shaggadelic.
Big welcome to Ryan Batiste aka Shaggadelic. We have been LOVING your latest release. Tell our readers more about how the project came together?
Hey so this is my 3rd project that I’ve released! I always make music basically everyday. My catalog is super extensive and it’s been a while since I released a project. I’m not the biggest fan of singles and I dropped a few singles prior to the release of MOON. I wanted to take this project to higher heights so I named and themed the project MOON!
We know everyone’s journey is different. What can you share with us about yours?
As a musician born and raised in New Orleans my experience as an Artist is extremely unique. The music culture is very different and diverse down here and I incorporate all of that into one in my music! I also come from a very musical background so I was always playing music since a child and in music programs/camps.
You have a really unique sound – how did you know you needed to share your gift of music with others?
I knew from the start that what I was doing could impact a lot of people. Then I started to have other people confirm and tell me the same thing so I knew I had to get these ideas out of my head and into everyone else’s as soon as possible.
Do you have plans for more music this year? Can you give us any inside scoop?
I definitely will be releasing more music this year! I wanted to do 3-4 projects at minimum because why not?! I got so much music why not put it out? Stay tuned, more info coming soon!
If we were riding in the car with you – what would we hear coming through the speakers?
That’s a good question. It honestly depends on how I’m feeling or what mood I’m in. I love the classical piano station on Spotify, which can easily lead into the trap universe and it just goes on and on from there!
Where can we keep up with the latest on all you have going on and new releases?
If you follow me on Instagram you’ll find all my latest content and updates concerning Shaggadelic and Raw Revolution!
