An Exclusive Interview with Bookie Miles, a Rapper from Jacksonville

1.) Tell us about your background getting to where you are today?
I’m a artist and Producer/engineer from Jacksonville Florida I love music been doing it since I was 7 last year I started back putting out freestyles and started seeing a lot of streams and motion so I Kept going in I love it.

2.) Where are you from?
I’m from the ghettos and project’s of Jacksonville Florida born and raised.

3.) When did you start music?
I started when my auntie Tracy bought me a mic when I was around 7 or 8.

4.) How did you get into music?
My family back ground is music and my daddy was a popular DJ in my city he loved music and i naturally picked it up my Mother and brother love music to.

5.) What is the most challenging thing you have overcome in your life?
Most challenging thing in my life was transitioning from the streets and trying to fly straight in the regular world all I knew was the streets.

6.) Are you currently signed or independent?
I’m independent, I started my own label 1800 Production under a LLC.

7.) Who inspires you the most musically?
2 Pac.

8.) What do you want people to take away after listening to your music?
I want people to know about the zone I catch when I’m in the studio I don’t write my rhymes and my message is motivational and telling people never give up on they dreams.

9.) Tell us about any new music you have coming out? When is it coming out? What is it about?
I actually put out music every week right now I’m just dropping singles but I do have a song called I’m Back that everyone loves I have a video for it to on my YouTube channel.

10.) What is your greatest achievement as a musician?
Right now my greatest achievement is all the love and positive feedback I’m getting from all around the world I wasn’t expecting that lol.

11.) Anything else you want the audience to know about you?
I just want people to know about this zone that I tap into when I record my music it’s magical it’s not regular.
