Los Angeles-based Alt-Pop artist Alec Rose is releasing his new track, “Nothing New” on Friday July 28th. Written, recorded, and produced by Alec Rose, “Nothing New” has Lo-fi undertones that are enhanced by charming lead vocals. This track touched upon themes such as: mundanity, feeling stuck, boredom, and more. Rose’s lyrics were inspired by the societal expectation of needing something new to report, and being made to feel “less than” when you don’t have anything exciting going on in your life.
