IndiePulse Reviews: Enchantment – the new album by Until the Sun
Artist Spotlight, Music Review and Tour Date Announcement by Joseph Timmons IndiePulse Music Journalist
Until The Sun, an eclectic, rising alternative-blues/rock group, have released their new Album Enchantment, when they released Dancing on the Floor, the first single from this epic album, we felt this Phoenix-based group would give us a stunning set of songs ….. and we were not wrong at all !!!
Whereas “Dancing on the Floor “was described as “a fun, funky upbeat blues song that will make you want this Summer,” by UTS guitarist, Brandon Teskey. The whole album is a truly fabulous accomplishment.

“Enchantment” by Until the Sun is a thrilling and inspired Blues & Rock tempered release with multiple vibes and tempos, a varied arrangement of musical styles blending into a completely harmonious collection of works that are as dynamic as the band is in performing them.
Let’s look at the album…
Enchantment is presently available to listen to on Until the Sun’s website as well as Spotify and many online music streaming services.
The album boasts the lyrical talents of vocalist Alyssa Swartz definitely stand out while the instrumental genius of Brandon Teskey on guitars, David Raymer on bass, Michael Young on keyboards; and Chris Tex on drums set the pace for this highly exuberant album.
Taking a page from bands such as RUSH, Pink Floyd and icons of the old guard in music, the album follows a theme, opening with the title track Enchantment, Pt 1, an airy and expanding piece that introduces you to an almost mythical and mystical place in the band’s own world, with tones and composition that is just as mind expanding. Followed by a strongly Rock Beat and Rhythmic track titled Your Well.
The track All Over Again is an old school Blues Rock anthem of emotions, here I feel the vocalist Alyssa Swartz channels the sad and riveting style of Janis Joplin and tears the world apart with a soulful and sultry rendition. Dancing on the Floor is as promised, and just gets the groove moving again.
Broken Masterpiece, which makes me feel the driving emotions of a scorned soul. Dragon Below and Death in Disguise are riveting and powerful, bright and stirring. While Enchantment, Pt. 2 brings us back around to the other world where we are met with tracks Hound Dog which is Until the Sun’s version of the Elvis hit which will itself become a worldwide sensation.
Animal Within has a vibe that just makes you move and Seek the Sunshine is simply brilliant and beguiling. Groovin, another big ballsy and true to the word blues that packs a punch, while Space for Leaving sounds uplifting, but also hide a sadness we have all known from time to time.
Ending the album is Ghost in the Prayer which is like hopping into a 67 Mustang with a full tank and an open road, this song is Hot and rhythmic, a perfect send off to an album that treats you in every way and at every turn.
LA Media Magazine said “Until the Sun are a refreshingly original blues/rock band who mostly play their own music as opposed to playing a string of blues covers. They’re carving out their own solid niche in an over-saturated blues market which is really, the only way to stand out.”
And we have this to add, and you can quote me …
“Get Until the Sun Enchantment, and you will enjoy their music Until The End of Time!”
