This Bandcamp album release by Dan Friedman is a deep and introspective collection of songs that bring you into the artist’s mind and his world in essence. Written by Friedman, and co- produced by Cody Weinberger, it is a clean production, warm, embracing and well done in all technical aspects, as well as driving in measure.
Released January 27, 2018, it could be considered a breakout piece, compared to his prior release, Jersey Day, there is a vast difference in the style, a more experienced and mature view of his music and it is a positive move.
This 3 track release is big and bouncy, but not flamboyant and gives for a treat, the 3rd track I Know What I’ve Found, is on the album in both an electric and acoustic versions, identical songs but the acoustic is an amazing version, for it has a stronger emotional punch, but the feel is “humble” as an appreciation for another day.
