Last week we featured them and they sounded like Peaking Lights , this week it’s like the Yeah Yeah Yeahs meet the Stooges. Bloody excellent band, we love them
4 Mokri – Total Love (282)
The whole lp for you. We do it rarely but they are worth your time. They say rock music is dead but we think in 2018 it sounds more alive than ever.
5 Confidence Man – Out of the Window (Weatherall Mix) (425)
Melbourne outfit get the Weatherall treatment. He’s been on fire recently with his indie band remixes, touches of Primal Scream’s “Come Together” about it – this one.
6 Eddy Crampes – Automne (470)
French dude in his voiture, the kilometres are going by. It’s good though and from 2017.
7 Khotin – Frog Fractions (514)
Stand out electronic tune of the week for us. Plus its got frogs in the mix , so we’re doubly happy.
8 The Babe Rainbow – Eureka (567)
Indie, indo funk indie number. Won’t set the world on fire but still a lot better than most of the stuff you’ll hear on the airwaves these days.
9 Negative Scanner – Would You Rather (574)
New US band discovery of the week for us. Came across them only a couple of weeks ago and can’t get enough, she’s got some great pipes too.
10 Matt White – A is for Acidpella (582)
Nice elctro take on acid.. as you know we can never get enough acid here at BOP.
