California’s Largest Traveling Tequila and Taco Music Festival returns to Downtown Ventura: The 7th Annual Tequila & Taco Music Festival, a fabulous two-day celebration of Tequilas, Tacos, Award-Winning Margaritas and great Live Music in Downtown Ventura’s Plaza Park, 651 E. Thompson Blvd. , on Saturday, July 20 and Sunday, July 21. Hours: 11:30 am to 6:00 pm each day. Saturday’s Tequila Sampling, $40 (11:30 am-3:30 pm); General Admission (both days): $10. In the unlikely event of a heavy rain, thunder, lighting or strong winds and the event is canceled due to safety concerns there are no refunds. As always, proceeds from the event will benefit Food Share, a non-profit organization dedicated to feeding, nourishing and educating the hungry of Ventura County, educating the community on those who are hungry and why, and advocating a reduction of the root causes of hunger.

Saturday, July 20 – Tequila Day 11:30 am to 6:00 pm

Tequila Sampling is from 11:30 am-3:30 pm ONLY

Saturday, Tequila takes center stage with a variety of Top Shelf Tequila and Mezcal Sampling, live music throughout the entire day, and, of course, Gourmet Street Tacos! Award-Winning Margaritas and Craft Beer will also be available for purchase. Participating Tequila Vendors include: Sazerac Comapny (Corazon Tequila and Los Vecinos Mezcal); Dulce Vida; Cazcanes Tequila; El Tequila El Mexicano; Tequila Corcel; The RPRC Group-Dame Mas-Grullense; 209 Stewart Group Inc. (Aguamiel Blanco & Reposado); Village Greens Market; Limon Y Sal; Sams Saticoy. Free live entertainment by DJ Cue; InStone; Sambada; and Adelaide.

Sunday, July 21 – Mas Margaritas 11:30 am to 6:00 pm

It’s Mas Margaritas and SundayFunday at beautiful Plaza Park in Downtown Ventura! Bring the family and enjoy a sunny Summer afternoon while sipping on an assortment of Margaritas and eating delicious Tacos – all while enjoying a great music lineup! No Tequila Sampling on Sunday. Live Entertainment by DJ Cue; Upstream; Adelaide; plus Bruno & the Hooligans.

All ticket holders will have access to Food Vendors, Craft Beer and Margarita Booths, and Live Music. Must be 21 years of age or older with a valid ID to purchase the Tequila Experience.
