What are you vibing to right now with your music?
I’ve been working on the visuals for my new album, so I’ve been watching a lot of Old Hollywood and fantasy movies for inspiration!
You are fierce and so is your style! Tell us a trend we should be rocking this year?
Thank you!!! Have fun with bright colors, crochet pieces, and vintage geometric patterns. Having gone through a pandemic together, there is a new appreciation and want for handmade clothing and accessories again, and it’s a perfect time to see diversity in styling.
What’s a trend to stay away from?
What I love about fashion is the way we influence each other’s style and how we interpret that style into our own wardrobe. A trend I advise to stay away from is to copy a personality or persona. Let your own uniqueness shine through, and I promise you will be on trend if you do.
We hear you have new music coming out! Can you talk about your vision for it?
I do have new music coming out! I wanted to go back to my roots of film and theater with this new album and give it the feeling of a movie soundtrack. The songs are linked together through the themes of love, loss, time, and innocence. We wanted to have a big band retro feel, while giving the listeners a sensation of jumping from the past to the present. We did a lot of experimenting and I feel it paid off!
