Channeling dominance through the vocals, and influenced primarily by huge alternative bands such as Nirvana, U2 and Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Bethany Sin have modernized alternative rock, and melded the genre into their own. Incredibly forceful, ‘Illumination‘ is a strong debut LP for this band, and is bound to help boost this talented collective into well respected musicians.
Bethany Sin, the creation of guitarist and singer/ songwriter, Christian Starkey, was formed at the start of lockdown 2020. With Debbie Wildish on drums, the duo formed to streamline creativity when writing tracks. Their album, which was recorded in just 7 days, is born of fools and heroes, but unfortunate deaths. Setting themselves apart from others, BethanySin takes pride in their realness – if nothing else, their music stays unapologetic, and completely reflects their personalities and passion for making well crafted music.
