Featuring Allman Brothers Band bassist David “Rook” Goldflies, A Brother’s Revival carries on the legacy of the Allman Brothers Band and captures the spirit and virtuosity of the band’s early years. Also performing with the group is vocalist and keyboardist Mike Kach, long-time Dickey Betts and Great Southern member.

David “Rook” Goldflies has deep roots in Southern Rock, from recording three albums and touring extensively with the Allman Brothers (1979-1983) to playing bass on Ram Jam’s recording of the iconic rock anthem, Black Betty and touring and recording (Atlanta’s Burning Down) with Dickey Betts and Great Southern.
A Brother’s Revival’s performance re-creates actual musical moments Rook experienced on stage with the Allman Brothers Band. The show also highlights the phenomenal contributions to the Brothers by guitarist Duane Allman and drummer Butch Trucks. Selections such as Ramblin’ Man, Jessica, Midnight Rider, Melissa, High Falls, and more bring the music that fans fell in love with to life.
Vocalist and keyboardist for A Brother’s Revival, Mike Kach toured with Dickey Betts and Great Southern for 12 years and was Dickey’s choice to sing the songs initially sung by Gregg Allman. Mike’s voice takes you back to the sound of Allman’s bluesy performances and adds another chapter to the Allman Brothers’ line of exceptional keyboardists.
