Supermodel Tyler Sebago is set to host the red carpet at the 21st Annual South Bay Music Awards, taking place on December 1, 2024, at the iconic Roxy Theatre in West Hollywood, California. Sebago will be sitting down with some of rock’s biggest legends from bands like Great White, Metallica, Dokken, Quiet Riot, KISS, Autograph, and many other multi-platinum award-winning songwriters and producers.

Sebago shared his excitement about the coveted role: “I grew up listening to these bands, studying their artform, and appreciating the subtlety in their larger-than-life persona. It’s such an honor to be asked to delve into their lives and legendary careers, and I am thrilled to be invited to such a prestigious table.”

The South Bay Music Awards, which began in 2003 from a simple idea written on a bar napkin, has since become a cornerstone of the independent music scene. Now in its 21st year, the event celebrates the best in independent music, providing a platform for artists to be recognized for their achievements and talent.

This year’s ceremony will include a tribute to the late Jack Russell, GRAMMY Award® winner and founding member of Great White, who passed away earlier this year. Russell’s contributions to rock music have been immeasurable, with his projects selling nearly 20 million copies. The tribute performance will feature a star-studded lineup, including Sean McNabb (Producer’s Choice Bass Player of the Year), Roni Lee (Producer’s Choice Female Vocalist of the Year), and Ronny North (Producer’s Choice Guitarist of the Year).
Under the theme “Bringing the Beach to the Sunset Strip,” this year’s awards will combine the laid-back spirit of California’s beaches with the electric energy of the Sunset Strip. As the event draws closer, tickets for both General Admission and VIP access are quickly selling out, promising an unforgettable night of music and celebration.
